Writing Sentences, Reading, and a Book Review

*Check out Good Word Editing for ways of writing sentences. I've been frequenting there for a few tutorials, myself.

*I bought some books yesterday with some B-day money:
Dragonseye by Anne McCaffrey (I missed reading this one-don't know how that happened) (I know why-it was garbage!)
Last Battle by C.S. Lewis(adding to my collection)
Riddle of Roses by Caryl Mullin (looked interresting and I got it because the gift came from my Aunt Rose)
Stowaway by Karen Hesse (fiction for research purposes)
Under a War-Torn Sky by L.M. Elliott (fiction for research purposes)
Reviews may come later-keep posted!

*I just finished reading Sister to the Wolf by Maxine Trottier. Very interesting read and thought provoking. Though I did not agree with her views on religion, they were just that-religion (man made rituals in order to make himself feel better concerning God). God is real-not some routine and ritual.

The setting was in Quebec (yeah Canada!) and was during the time of forts, trappers, indians, and corsets:) Nice romance, adventure, and female determination.

Rating:*****

Eve, thanks for the link! That sounds like a great list of books. The Last Battle is really pretty amazing, much different from the other Narnia books. Darker and more epic in some ways.

I'm working through H.P. Lovecraft's works right now. Great stuff!

I haven't read any Anne McCaffrey in years. I should revisit her work again.
