I've adopted several of his techniques, and the "formula" at the beginning to determine if your idea is salable--that was a very thought-provoking and focusing exercise.

I've really been able to glean a lot from the snowflake method. It made my plot weaknesses glare until I fixed them. My story is much better because of it
